    Default Have a question...

Might not be in right area but at work we have 1/16 plastic placards we use which we have to get engraved from another company but since have a CW Im going to attempt to use this and save us some funds. Would I need centerline text program to do this right since the depth will be routered at 0.033 half the depth of the material. I know I have to rout out a sled and already have. Any advice the theres text and line drawings on the placards....

My only thought would be to use a 22-30 degree bit (very sharp points) in order to get fine lines.
I've used a 22.5 degree bit on wood with some success. Holding thin material can be a challenge!

Thanks for the replies. I realized that after 4 hrs of trials and errors the Center Text actually worked good in demo mode especially after figured out how toiuse the bit depth and choosing the right bit. haha
