    How are you supposed to know what bit is what? Also, do you leave the little rubber ring on when you insert the bit?

    Besides the manual, you can also look in the store under Bits for further information. Don't forget to click on the item image or name to see more detailed information about the product.

    Yes, leave the rubber stop collars on your decorative bits. They assure the bit goes into the spindle at the same depth each time.

    Got it figured out! Did just what you guys suggested! Finished my first piece. Came out pretty good for never doing anything with machine before!
