File written by newer version error

I downloaded and installed designer 2.0 I uninstalled it. I didn't use it. I went back to using 1.178 build 8998 and now when I try to open some of my MPC files I get "File was written by a newer version".
I went back and installed build 10870 and now works fine.

Did you open the files in 2.0?

Do you mean 1.178 or 1.187 (latest)?

Thanks for your response. I re-installed build 10870 and works fine now.
