    Default smoother transition using feather

attached is something I was playing with. I want to have a softer edge on the feather. I did an outine on the deer, then a path offset with a 1/2" feather. The question is , is there an other way to make a softer and longer sweep from the bottom of the pattern up the sides. This is another argument for more choices for the "feather option".
    any ideas would be great.
just playing around until the conference.

I have often wondered why it is that
