    Default pocket cuts

    I've been trying to learn a little bit more... you might not believe this but I've been trying to do this pocket cut for about two and a half hours and would someone be so kind as to poof read it... I think it was easier to learn how to weld...thank you

    Could you explain what you are trying to do? What are the lines in the center with no bit assigned?

    I am tring to use a 3/8 strait bit to cut a slot out for for a 3/4 board I'm trying to do a carve path so I can get away from useing a 1/16 carve bit. I'm just playing with the programs I have to start somewhere or I'm gonna ware that machine out!!!...lol

    and I thought that
    i did have a 3/8 bit assigned. I might be getting dummer the older I get...lol

    it sure is easier to read blueprints and fabracate than it is to make em...the making of blueprints that is..

    Is not all you need is the rectangle 3/8" wide with the 3/8" bit assigned?

    as I look at what I did, should'nt it just take two passes for to make it .75 for the width?

    Yes. You must have been missing something before like: it is the center of the bit follows the path.
