    Default canadian goose

    can some one help me make a 2d pattern from this vector pattern &nbsp;not much detail as i only want the bird to be somewat fatter and maybe have bigger wings thanks and please dont spend a lot of time on it<br>denny

    I cleaned it up a little and joined the body parts. You should be able to accomplish what you want to do now.

    I think the wings are supposed to be propellers. Maybe some carving is needed?

    Thank u Steve . I am wondering if the body can be raster cut so it can look like a carving rather than a cutout on flat stock can you help me with this
    Bergerud you are right the wings do need some carving can you please help me with this
    I know this will be a fun project

    I do think it would be a fun project. It is the perfect type of project to use the new tools on. I could not stop myself from giving it a try. I made a goose body. I found a picture on the web and imported it as a tracing image. I traced it and used puffing. I used tilting for the tail and path offset to make clearance around the carving.

    Edit: I guess it is a duck!

    I agree, nice bergerud but for old fashion whirligig purposes could u post without the rectangle wing carve region?

    The rectangle is not the wing! It is a recess for a boss to hold the shaft and get the wing away from the body. I have not made the wing yet.
