    Default Atlanta Woodworking Show Reflections

Capt Bruce and my self (Myshop 1044) worked together this past weekend
for the show in Atlanta. It was a success. We used the split and conquer
method, while Bruce was showing the abillities of the machine while it was carving,
I was showing the features of Centerline, Conforming, and some of the new 3D and 2D
applications to some CW users and new people. We were able to help some CW users with problems
and questions. I was given the phone by one person so I could talk to his wife about a problem.
She is going to E-mail me later on this week.
On Saturday morning, we were there at 9 A.M. getting things ready for opening of the show
at 10 A.M. and the next time I looked my watch it was 2:30 P.M. and we had not stoped
    for a break or lunch.
The one thing that empressed a lot of people people,( there was another CNC machine
just to our back and they did not operate the machine) was the weekend sales price when
we pointed out that the other machine was about 2 1/2 times more than ours.
All in all it was long hours and alot of talking, but it was worth it. So if you are a CW user and a show
comes to your area go out and help.
Here are a few pictures of the weekend.
We don't have more pictures, because we were busy.

I almost went but didn't want to go to the northside of town. I thought the admission price was a little steep and saw no discount coupons. Would have liked to have seen Capt. Bruce again and meet some other members. Oh well.

Discounted $2, if you purchased online. To find coupons, go to www.thewoodworkingshows.com under FOR ATTENDEES > COUPONS.

Look there for next year anyway. Great job, to all of our START U members that helped us out at the shows!!

Great set up guys! Connie is right you can get a small discount if you purchase your tickets on line. If you are going to help out in the booth area then it is no cost. You just have to get registered as a vendor..
