    Default Pattern Help!

All the patterns I make have rough edges or they carve leaving eunwanted edges. I know it's not he machine or the software I'm still in the learning mode.
Please take a look and any suggestions will be appreciated.

Dodadd1, when I look at this mpc, what I see is your original image you used as your template being rather small. When you enlarge a small image it gets pixelated and the edges are never smooth. Much better to find a large image and shrink it, than start with a small image and enlarge it. Even better would be to trace the outline in the designer itself.

    Hope this helps,
    David

This is another use for the 3D tools. I used sweep to make a quick shield. (Then I made a pattern out of it.)

You can enlarge an image with a PhotoShop type program and set the Dots-per-Inch to 300DPI. This will let you clean the edges.

You folks are the greatest! I saved them all and the only problem now is that they all look so good I don't know which one to use.
    Thanks again to all.
