Need help creating vector pattern

Well good news, I got a license to produce stuff with University of Kansas on them! Wish the logo didn't have so many colors but oh well. Anyway, I would really like to have a vector pattern for it to make stuff that's a little simpler carve. I got a program called Inkscape but so far I haven't learned how to use it very well.

I am attaching the "blue chicken" in MPC form and a regular image. If someone has the software to convert this easily for me I would really appreciate it.
