    Default Carving issue

Not sure where to find if its here but when carving the pattern ends up having areas that either carved to deep or not enough through out the carve anyone have any ideas? Maybe compression issue?

Un even carving areas like this is usually because the head is being raised up as the dust that is built up on the board goes under the compression rollers. If the inside of the ends of the rollers has dust built up it does not allow enough movement for the roller to raise up enough and will cause the head to raise instead.

Can you post the mpc file, I think there might be something in the project file.

Are you using a sled or a board that is 7 inches longer than your project?

Good thinking - I assumed it was on a sled. Would be great to see the mpc, that would be the tell all with carving position, board size, etc.

I think it is the mpc. The deeper carves are only in the background, not across the whole carve. You really should post the mpc.
