pattern of side rail for louver door required ?

Hi all, does anybody have a sample i can modify or already pre made of a side rail that can be used / modified using 2"x1" softwood having a retangular grooved cut out at approx 45 degrees where a peice of wood can be inserted into the other the same as a louver door shutter ? I need the side rail which holds the louvers 48" long, im having issues getting the cut out angle and depth correct. if someone could help it would very much appreciated. thank you
