Picked up about 10 orders from the Shrine Black Horse Patrol. Started out as 2 orders, then the word got out. Came out pretty nice. I used Poplar and stained it with Cherry and turned out pretty nice. Thanks to those I asked for advice on trying some stain on poplar.
I'm having a heck of a time trying to rotate the picture. I've resized it AND rotated it, saved it and when I upload it ... still comes out turned. I did notice that if I click it and then click it again to view in the browser it comes out OK. Anyone have a clue?

Jerry....even looking sideways at your sign it is awesome. Having 10 orders for the same sign will certainly keep you busy for awhile.

    Carvings look great.

I really love the Porsche 356 the most.

    Great job.
    Happy Carving

Here is the latest sign. I am waiting for input from the customer as to the final finish.
I got the patterns from CNCminiprojects.
The skull is in pine, the board in cedar. I used some coloured stain pens to colour the rope on the horns and the letters
Then I rubbed Briwax lightbrown wax on the rest.
The skull was a 2 hour carve and the back board was a three hour carve

This is a paint station for painting gaming models. I made this as a gift. it will be in a prize package for a painting contest.
It is made of 1/2 inch baltic birch ply. I carved the logo and the text with a 60 degree vbit set at .034 then I stained the cuts with Briwax
