    Attached is a centerline sign that I finished and golf leafed after 20 coats of hand sanded varnishing....

    Beautiful work! Thanks for sharing - I have wanted to try the gold leafing this gives me a good reason to give it a shot.

    That looks great. Can you share the gold leafing process you used to make that sign. I have only used a liquid gold leaf but it does not look nearly as nice as that. Thanks

    OK..... so here's my question on gold leafing (since I don't have a clue about it). I was given a small glass jar and is has small gold flakes in it. I know it's not glitter. I thought gold leafing came in sheets. Does it by chance come in containers as gold flakes too? As I mentioned, it's definitely not glitter and it's just small dry gold flakes. Besides, how does one put that on something?
