    Default Musepack

Seems winamp audio player, is using an open source program called Musepack. What this has to do with the carvewright is this. Musepack when installed takes over the extension of MPC, for Musepack also uses this extension. Therefore if you can not open an MPC file and the message tells you Musepack in it, then you will only be able to open the MPC files by opening designer, click file, open and browse to the MPC file you want to open. Or remove musepack from your computer, or use file association to associate the MPC back to GUI.EXE. (right click the file, choose open with, and browse to GUI.EXE. Make sure to place a check in the remember box.

Although I haven't updated Winamp lately, usually you can do a custom install and then have the option of selecting what extensions you want associated with Winamp when it installs.
