    Default Horse Head Pattern

Looking for a good pattern of a horse head to use on the end of a saddle stand. Needs to have good detail, no bridle/halter and be a cut out, like not on a square plaque or something. Anyone got something like that? Would be about 5-6" tall/high. Thanks! I am very thankful for this forum, I would be lost without it!

Yes LHR gets 50% commission on patterns, but 98 to 99% of our patterns on the PatternDepot are created by our customers and they get paid for your patronage of the depot.

    Default How do I...

    Attachment 57341
Ok this is probably just another dumb newbie question. See the attached pattern. How do i isolate just the horse head so it can be outlined and cut out? Do I need other software to do that?

You guys are great, I appreciate the help. BUT, doing it for me doesn't teach me HOW to do it myself! So Henry, how did you do that? And it seems that it lost a lot of the detail, why?

BadBert, love that one! But it's way too big, how do I make it smaller? When I try to resize it's just the actual head, the cut out stays the same. I'm trying to learn how to do this stuff so I don't have to depend on you guys and maybe I can help someone ya know! I do appreciate it!!

It depends upon how and where you obtain your original. You may not edit another persons offered pattern.

If you there is a box around the offered pattern you may need to look for one without a box.
My "download" link, below, has a series of AVI lessons with the words Edit, Pattern Editor, or Import.

If you Have not purchased Pattern Editor, Get the Scanning Probe package as it contains Pattern Editor, and you will be able to scan solid objects as well.
