    I have made a few projects and was wonding how to get a circle cut without wasting too much wood

    i am getting ready to cut my coaster project and want them to come out round instead of square .how do I cut the outline of the pattern?

    Draw a circle the size you want carve the region, draw a second circle the size you want, which is larger than the first circle and outlines it, then carved that region and then select the merge tool, additive and then changed the height to raise the carve some. Then with the outer circle still selected use the cut out tool.

    You have a round coaster, carved in the middle, and cut out.
