God makes the grain and then shows me how to display it. LOL

Thank all of you for the praise and uplifting support.

Well said! I think this all the time. My wife thinks I am nuts, because I will epoxy a loose knot, "Just use a different board", she says. But God put it there for a reason. I also carve pieces with missing knots! Like my sculptor friend says, "It was in the rock, I just removed everything that wasn't supposed to be there." Heck, I never choose a finish until the board tells me what it wants! Wait... maybe I am crazy!

So what do you use for joinery on these boxes? dowels? bisquits? I build a LOT of boxes, seems like I use something different on every one. Have become very fond of pocket screws lately if I can get away with it. Just wondering what you used. Nice box, can't wait to start doing stuff like this when I get my machine to work right.

Well I finished the box and the customer picks it up in a couple days.

I onle used glue to hold it together. Saving up for a Biscuit cutter.

I know your customer will be thrilled with the box as you did an excellent job carving and finishing it.
