    Default Command at Sea pattern

Looking for a pattern for the Navy Command at Sea pin. Yes I saw the one in the pattern store, but looking for one with a little bit better detail and smoothness.

Any help would be appreciated - photo attached

Two thumbs up, gave me the detail that I was looking for.

I need to learn how you do it.

    Thank you very much

Chief I used Moi3d to draw out the seal. Then extruded the vectors to a height I wanted. Saved it as an OBJ and opened it in ZBrush to sculpt. In Moi, I just gave everything a flat surface at a predetermined height and added the details in ZB.
The new 2d and 3d software should be able to make that pattern. Would take a lot more closed vectors for the details since it does not have the ability to sculpt, or smooth. I do like the puff in the 3d suite. Yet I do not own either of those packages, and Moi3d has more features for less cost. You could also use sculptris a free program instead of ZB for the sculpting. No matter what package you use there is a LARGE/LONG learning curve.

I like this version better than the original BJ. Always like what you do anyway.
