Thank you everyone for the nice comments, and it's not even sanded nor glued yet. I intend to paint this one in multiple colors, mainly gold, green and blue for the phoenix and red and gold for the dragon. still thinking about that.

Main panel carving is done! the lower piece took 8hrs. The middle one is 2/3 sanded. There are still two posts to carve. One on each side to hold the headboard to the bed.
