another greyscale question

Hi!
I'm a new member, and would like to see a detailed pattern vs finished product. Perhaps the original drawing of the grapes in the library.
I draw most all of my own designs and use them for my embroidery sewing machine. I'm trying to use the same patterns for the carvewright but all my samples look like they've been chewed up and spit out.
I would love any and all help on this issue.

Sorry , here's the grapes.
The larger you go with the grapes , the more detail is lost.
