    Great Job did you cut the paddles also or buy them?

    eromran the paddles were bought by scout troop. I created a jig to hold them. Basically slot to fit paddle end and an adjustable screw that put pressure on the handle to hold the paddle still. I also had to jog to place when finding surface so carvewright used the paddle height not the side of the jig.

    Thank you for the kind words. I'm just glad I was able to create something the boys will enjoy for years to come. Our Troop hangs each years paddles in the Scout barn where they have there weekly meetings. We have paddles gor about 40 years hanging on the wall and only 4 of them were carved so these will also stand out.
