    Default Screamin' Eagle

    Not sure where to post this. Not sure if I should share... I used a grayscale eagle from pratyeka(?) and a harley logo from here. I wanted the logo to be between the wings. Finally figured out, darken the wing on top, and lighten the wing on the bottom! Thanks eelamb for shedding light on the fix!

    Came out great Bert. Glad you got it figured out.
    Using Designer 1.187, STL importer, Center line, conforming vectors, scanning probe/PE, and the ROCK chuck.

    Very nice! I really like how the wing is showing through the Harley Logo text. Nice effect. I'm going to download this so I can see how you did it.

    I did it in photoshop. I am just learning heightmaps. Ask bud has some awesome tutorials. Here are the images. So you can see the changes I made to the wings, to get the height/depth I wanted.
