Default Need your help to create a pattern

I want to make Air Force "ammo coins" and I have one but do not know how to make a pattern to carve. I want to give some to a couple of old buddies from Viet Nam. Can anyone help me? I would pay for the pattern and appreciate the help. Attached is a photo, hope they are good enough.Click image for larger version.

From what I see you could simply use the circle tool and draw a circle, then use the Text editor for the words.

I need to copy a molding profile. I do this by making a template but when I import my scanned flat page copy into Designer, it isn't the correct size. What can I do to fix this? Will either of the two newest software pkgs handle this?

    Thanks, marinan

Have you used the import file. Click on file top left of tool bar, click import image file, a small box will come up select from file. Now select the image from disk you what. click next, be sure to unclick the lock upper left and finish. This will put a pattern in pattern box

Are you trying to make them actual size (around 2 inches) to what a challenge coin would be?

(I'm working on something to help you out)

Here's my attempt-- without knowing units/years etc... this is also significantly larger than a standard coin-- without the writing around the edge/name, you could make it much smaller (like my recent checkers)

Basically, I used the same technique I used on my checkers to make this pattern.

Of course, this was the first of many moments that are sure to happen until I save up enough to buy the new 3d software where I said to myself, "wow, the new 3d software would probably be really good at making this"

    Oh well, in the meantime....

Front view plus some with grain from an edge-- I could make the back up too if you are interested
