    Default Got wood?

Here is a design I'm going to run for a few cabinet doors. These doors will be used for cabinets in a summer home that doesn't always get a lot of use. I am thinking of using cherry or perhaps to lower cost using MDF. I'll seal the MDF and then finish with a sprayed cherry lacquer finish. Any thoughts about how these might carve and finish using MDF?

MDF carves really nice , it just doesn't do small detail very good because of chipout. Also I here that its pretty abraisive because of the glue.
I'll usually use it as a test material. and I have made kitchen cabinets with it .
