Make sure the data card is pushed all the way in before turning the machine on. Also, try formatting the data card or use a different one.

Sounds like the controller. Do you vacuum out your machine with a shop vac?

I had this problem on a machine at a high school shop. I found the ribbon wire pinched. You could have a bad power supply.Un plug your machine, then move the truck back in forth. Then plug in your machine and turn it on . If the power supply is working you should feel a drag. There is 2 voltages coming out of the power supply 1 for cut motor and 1 lower voltage for the screen. The "Other Power Supply Trick"... Is to remove the Muffler and lay the machine on it's back, the Muffler Side. with the power on and watch the LCD Display.... I learned in 2007 that when the L2 Coil on the Power Supply snaps off, it is usually the outer lead. By laying the machine on it's back GRAVITY presses the broken L2 Wire back into the hole and the LCD comes back on... Before you start... Put the LCD Dimmer or contrast in the middle of it's travel.

So this could really be a L2 Coil problem especially if it is a "A" version since you joined in 2008. QC Vibration caused it.... Do you have a QC?

    Good Luck,
