Default It was a busy weekend....

Had a great weekend in the shop making a few things that I thought I would share. The deer mount plaque is for my 7 point from last season. The wise words plaque is for my brother (I actually carved two for him, so not sure where they are going). The clock is for a friend named Moose who will mount my horns on the deer plaque in exchange for the clock which has 30-06 casings for the numbers and the weather station is a map of my favorite lake (that I don't get up to enough) for a friend who gave me about 100 bdf of ash which I will put to good use once it is dry. It was a blast to carve all weekend and my CW performed like a champ. The wise words plaque alone was a 5 hour carve on the "best" setting....

    John,

You did have a great weekend, when you can get that much carved.

    All of them are great.

Looking forward to more that you will share.

I like them all, but my number one pick is The wise words plaque.

You need to put that up for a ptn or mpc for sale.

With as much great stuff I get from this forum, it is no problem for me to share the mpc for the wise words. I did put the edge on the plaque using my router table so the mpc has a simple edge...

Nice projects and thank you for sharing the " Words to Live By ". I will carve that several times and I might even give one to the preacher. On second thought... maybe I will....
    Thanks again!
