    Nice work for your first project. It looks like it was built by a pro. I agree on fixing knot with sawdust and glue.

    Thank you all for the encouragement and advice on the glueing. I've been cleaning all the fuzzies from around the letters and design next will be the knot. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

    I have finally finished my project, well at least I'm at a point I'm satisfied with it. After a few failed tries of fixing the cracked knot I decided I like it.
