Finished the carve at 9:33 so it was an hour less than the machine estimate. Photo tomorrow

Default Wrapped up the Carve at Best

As noted Sunday some follow up photos of the Stallions Header pattern out in the daylight. I really appreciate those who worked in concert to share this MPC with all of us. Taking it to work Monday to do a little finish sanding and clean up at lunchtime, generated six more carving orders (for smaller plaque projects), as it really fascinates people who see it. A little big to be a business card but perhaps that's why the decorative carved "shingle" hanging out in front of a Shop was so important in years past.

    Very nice work Bruce.
Using Designer 1.187, STL importer, Center line, conforming vectors, scanning probe/PE, and the ROCK chuck.

There may be some confusion from this. But the version you all are carving, was not the final version. I wanted to make Rope Columns for the sides of the Door frame. But the rope pattern didn't look like rope when I made them that size. So jpaluck made me a much more realistic rope. I also reworked the original picture to increase contrast and sharpen to increase the depth and detail. This is the version that I finally carved for my door.Click image for larger version.

ID:	58404. The file is in the same link as the other one. But it is called StallionDoorBBRope3. Here is a direct link. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?tjhnse8gl2aqnq8 . I apologize for any confusion. I am sure I posted this before! http://forum.carvewright.com/showthr...-accurate-rope Maybe every one prefers the first one?!
