The new software will give a new dynamic that i don't think some harder to use 3D software will. So unless your a 3D artist i would get the new LHR software tools over STL importer.

    Default Just playing

He is probably a poor example as I am just playing and learning by trial and error. I took my avatar image and did the import image to trace to play with it. I used the "smart spline" tool to trace the columns, puffing tool to give them a shape and the tilt tool. Imported the image in as a pattern to overlay for detail.

  4. Default My first project with new 3D Suite

Here is a screen shot of my first project with the new 3D software. I haven't tried to machine it yet as I need to do some tweaking of the text spacing. I was very pleased with how easy I was able to pickup the new software and put this together. Actual size will be 9" X 12" by .75". I originally started this a while back and the new tools made it so much easier.

That looks awesome and just think it is your FIRST project. Looks like the sky is the limit and beyond.
    Thanks for sharing your work.

This was not my First project on the Carvewright but the first using the new 3D Modeling Suite. It is really easy to use.
