Default Hello from the Emrald island of Kodiak, Alaska

Im new to the forum and to wood carving. I just got my Carvewright a few days ago and there sure is a lot to learn. I am currently on disability and started a part time business to help generate some income and hopefully get off of disability. Im really excited about geting started in this venture.

I would recommend getting Floyd's Ringneck blues DC insert at some point.

It makes for a much cleaner machine and cuts out most of the problems from the sawdust.

Great to have you as a member. I used to go fishing in Homer every year. I hope you enjoy the CW as much as I do.

Thank you for all the well wishes. I've been reading as much as my brain can take and used up all my scrap wood. All I've made so far are mistakes but they sure are fun and I'm learning a lot.
