Thanks for sharing this touching account of your days with your little buddy. You will both have life long memories of your time together and with those in your heart you will never be alone in this world. A blessing on all of you for being what a family really should be through good time and hard times.

Just wondering and don't know if it's been addressed yet..........

Since we now have 2 different SW versions out there that are being used in Designer.. is it possible that instead of creating and sharing a mpc that is only compatible with a particular SW version... can just a ptn be made and can that be shared between BOTH SW versions or is that also only good with the SW it's created in? Just wondering if there is still some sort of way to share between both SW versions.

Jerry I have asked for this. PTN files can be opened by all versions, whereas MPC from designer 2 can only be opened by designer 2. I have given up asking for the 1.187 file to be posted, guess they do not want to share with ALL of us. I also asked for images to be posted along with the pattern file. Sure makes it easier, and only takes a few minutes to make.

Thanks Eddie. I guess one would think that all this "hoopla" about not being able to share files across both SW versions could have been avoided a LONG time ago just by simply asking everyone to start making and posting ptn files to share across. I believe even the ptn file would even be smaller in size than regular mpc files. Oh well....... I guess that was just a NO GO on that solution. I wish I would have kept up with the "SW Hoopla", but I just gave up... wish I would have kept reading and seen your suggestion. I will definitely start posting ptn files from now on when I share something on the forum. Maybe one day it will catch on by others.
    Thanks Eddie
