I have often wondered why it is that
Conservatives are called the "right" and Liberals are called the "left".
"The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of
the fool to the left."
Love the design Eddie.
Great job.
Are you going to make the conference this year??
Happy Carving

So, the Seal of Texas is not copyright protected per Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Seal_of_Texas.svg
Not exactly the same seal, but horseshoes & hand grenades!
I say, put it on your CarveMore Pattern Vendor store and let all of us Texans (and wannabes) have a chance to pay you for it.

Carvemore pattern store? I do not have a pattern store, well I do but that one is in another name and all proceeds go to a church.
OK since there is interest, I went ahead and finished the pattern, fixing the star (lone star), and the acorns. Pattern is 12.5 (about) and .34 deep. It will be on my website in a little while.
Using Designer 1.187, STL importer, Center line, conforming vectors, scanning probe/PE, and the ROCK chuck.

Well, when I first started this new hobby in November, I asked each of my brothers and sisters what they would like (8 of us, grew up in St. Louis)... I moved to Idaho, and my sister Mo (Maureen) moved to Texas. The others are still in MO... 5 finished projects already mailed...
Anyway, she thought maybe a Texas Star, so I designed this from shared patterns:
fishy_fishy.mpc
But, after seeing all these other carvings I've been doing (facebook!), my Texas Star looked kinda boring... So, she's leaving it up to me...
I just carved this for her:
This was a shared pattern that I really like, and Mo and her husband came to visit us in Idaho for a fishing trip... but I guess that's really an Idaho thing (43rd state).
So now, do I do my original Texas with the 28 stars around the circle, or the fishy or this new one or something else?
It's never really going to end, is it? I think I'm hooked!

Another one I have been messing with. Went out with my camera, but never saw a live one to get a good picture of.
