    Default Fooling around

Just fooling around for a bit tonight and made this pattern. Not selling it or posting it. Like so many before this one I most likely will delete it.

Nice job Eddie! It's too bad people steal your fine work and try to sell it.

Great pattern! I think we've all come such a long way in the almost 4 years I've been on this Forum. It is truly a shame how on some things we haven't done well because of the greed of a few. Oh well.. I guess such is life. Eddie, you have some great talent in making patterns. Brings to mind a question.... I know we've had demos on programs to make patterns at our last Conf & will probably have more demos.Would it be worth it to have someone give a dedicated workshop on doing this. Moreso doing this with a "free" or "cheap" program that many can afford (ie..paintnet, gimp, etc?.

Jerry, you need to talk to Alan about the gimp\tutorials, and conference. He has come a long way.
Only cheap program I use at times is shadermap pro. Rest are silo ($150), Moi ($295), and zbrush (about $623 when on sale), and all come with a LARGE learning curve. I am still learning Zbrush, and bet I will only scratch the surface even at that. I am looking into artcam express ($150) and may be getting that one if I can find out if it saves to STL format. My trial ran out before I had a change to use it much, so not all questions were answered while I had it.

    Thanks everyone for your comments.
