I have been asked for this pattern with a blank face plate so here it is for those that are interested.

Back when I was a boy, we carved our own IC's out of wood.
Before they invented drawing boards, what did they go back to?

Rob nice work on that hutch door.
Question, for anyone, is there a way to reduce the size of a ptn file for posting here, other than to zip it?
attached is a wizard and dragon for those that want it.
Thanks everyone for sharing your patterns.
Using Designer 1.187, STL importer, Center line, conforming vectors, scanning probe/PE, and the ROCK chuck.

Suggestions? On the wax, I recently attended a finishing seminar at Woodcraft in Seattle. Tom Henscheid demonstrated Liberon Black Bison paste wax. I do think the dark is even more aromatic than the neutral but I warn you!!! Like your mother telling you to stay away from drugs, that stuff will hook you with the first whiff. It works really great, no one will complain about how well it works. Problem is, in a week and a half I've striped and rewaxed everything that wasn't plastic or paint in the house. You will be building things just so you can finish them. Powerful stuff!
Your box is beautiful and the staining compliments it even more so.

Liberon Black Bison Wax is well known in England for its high quality blend of paraffin, microcrystalline and carnuba wax along with a distinctive, pleasant aroma. Traditionally, this neutral toned wax is used on antiques, but it will also enhance the natural beauty of new wood while protecting it from drying out. To apply, first remove old wax and dirt by rubbing with mineral spirits. Apply Black Bison Wax sparingly to the furniture surface with 0000 grade steel wool, allow to dry and then buff with a clean cotton cloth. 500 ml.
Note: This product has been approved by The Guild of Master Craftsmen and Certified EN71-Toy Safe.

And you too Pam.. I've never heard of that type of wax before but I would love to give it a try....
On a side note, I also started carving on Bloodwood for the first time OMG: that is some BEAUTIFUL WOOD to carve on... hold the details fantastically and finishes glass smooth..

Hey all.. I need to find a good quality Armadillo pattern in 3d for a sign project. I want to pay for it but I haven't found anyone with this in their store. Does anyone have one that they are willing to sell or trade for something?
Thanks
Robert
