this one will require painting,it is a scan of a wall plack of my wife's,and i think it will make a good outside sign carved in poplar and all painted up

Have had my machine a while, like most here I just never seem to have enough time. Got my scanner a couple of weeks ago, finally made a sled and tried a couple of items. Found the stag original at an auction, is metal and apparently was fastened to something. Nice flat back, couldn't get any lower on the neck, exceeded thickness limits. Crab is pewter, something my wife had. Possibly a paperweight?
Hope the quality is OK, my first attempts to edit out the background. Really enjoy this forum and it is a pleasure to see the open sharing along with the willingness of all to help each other. THX
Somebody asked my about a chopper pattern a week or so ago, I tried to whip something up that would work. It turned out OK, just a little too flat...and I can't seem to atttach a picture here so follow the second link for one...
