I was playing around with Photo Impact and here is a Lighthouse I drew.
Might need a little more detailing.

This is a scan of a box lid the original dimensions were 5.76" x 8.51" x .507"
So was I the only one to buy a scanning probe, or are others just not posting their scans?
Thanks ~Mike
If at first you do succeed - try to hide your astonishment.
I live on Mobile Bay and we have a lot of things nautical around, as well as Mardi Gras.
I did buy the probe and here is one of the rather large Boatwheels with a lighthouse and boats in the middle.
I agree that more people should contribute, at least 1 in 10 that download.
the sample is carved on pine
I am posting this per a couple of requests. Carve time was 4 hrs 10 mins. at "best" setting. Wood was 9/16 cherry.
If it's supposed to move and doesn't, use WD40...If it's not supposed to move and does, use duct tape.

This is the second design for a hanging or table lamp this will also be a hanging lamp with the customers initial in the center.
Computers-Yuk....I should junk it...It never does what it should do...only what I tell it.
Here is my first successful 3D pattern after Jon's tutorial. Its for real football fans.
Just wanted to add a picture of Ted Grinnell's Lighthouse and wheel, carved out. This is straight from the machine.
Thank you Ted for posting, my wife loves it. Excuse the defects in the board, this is popular which has been biscuit jointed together, and was a test piece. I hope to get round to staining later on.
The picture looks darker than it should be, but we had to turn off the flash, the flash just brightened it to much to see the detail.
