    Default Raised drawer carving

I built and carved this drawer front (see picture) I can't seem to add it to my library, I get an SQL error. So I am just uploading a crop of the scan because the system won't let me upload a PTN file that large.

Any idea on how I can get the full drawer front in the library?
    Thanks ~Mike

    Default Free Rosette Pattern

    Hello,

I was experimenting a bit this morning and came up with a nice dome Rosette pattern that some folks may find useful.

    Default Just a little hummingbird

This scan didn't come out as well as the unicorn did...Thinking its because the item itself was smaller. But in any case here it is.

Here is a sign I've made for a friend. I got the horse pattern from someone on the forum here. Pattern and .jpeg attached for any of you horseracing fans.

Default Four scanned patterns for everyone

I'm on vacation this week and after a bit of yard saling this past week-end I've been putting my scanner to some use. Two in this post and two in the next post.

Don't know how well this cross will carve. The fretwork areas are very small but it sure is pretty. You will need to adjust your depth on the Cherubs PTN. The scan depth was over 1" and I didn't know at the time that I should've change the depth when saving. You can adjust it easily with in designer itself.

    Default A few more scans

I'm glad I can fianlly give back a bit for all the wonderful patterns that I have downloaded here.
Did a few more scans yesterday...Surprised at what you find for 25 cents at the yard sales...lol The leaf is the backside of a small glass ash try. Two in this post and one in the next.

Heres the last scan for awhile...I do have other items I picked up to scan but have a carving to do and have orders for the scrollsaw I have to get to work on. Will keep scanning as I have time. This was a small plastic hear frame with a bit of relief detail on it. You will have to do cut path in the center of it to make it into a frame.

    Default Chip Carving

Here is another picture that, I think, Lin has correctly identified as a chip carving. All I know is that they carve very quickly and they carve well in soft (i.e. cheap) wood using only one bit. This would probably go well on a plate, a box lid or even a clock if you drill a hole in the middle.
