    Default Cut path problem

    Hi Guys

I'm trying to get the cut path tool to work in the software.
If I use the square or circle tool it highlights, but if I draw lines to
make a shape it won't highlight.

    Thx in advance
    Jeff

Your lines must be connected to form a closed figure, or the line must leave the design board.
You will find two lessons in my "Download" link, below, with titles that begin with the words "Connected Lines". Essentially, you click on VIEW > TOGGLE NON ENDPOINTS, and drag one of the ends to where it connects with the other. The RED dot will GLOW when connected.

    Jeff.

In order to get a cut path you have to make sure all "end points" are connected to make a closed path. In the "view tab" select "toggle non end points". It will show the red end points that are not connected. Zoom in on the area, click and hold on one of the red end points and drag it to the next/closest point. When connected the red end points will change to a star to indicate they are connected.
