    Default 2013 Pheasants Forever Banquet

Made up 2 very quick clocks for this years fund raiser banquet out to standard 14" cabnet doors I picked up at the Habitat store ($2.00 each) and a fast vector carve and hole drill for the shell inserts. Carve time was less than 30 minutes each. I did the back side pocket cut for the clock mechanism with my plunge router.

I believe both went for $50.00 each. Not to bad for an investment of around $12.00.

I find this is a very good advertising form for us all.

I had a new one the other day , the fund gave back half of what the item sold for to me , tride to let them keep it all but they said we get more items to sell the way we do it so No take the money.

    Good items thank you

    Gary,

That is an unusual approach for a fund raising event. Betting it does get more to submit items.

And yes it is also a very good way to get ones name and work out there!

Default 2014 Pheasants Forever Banquet Carvings

Well it is that time of year again for the annual Pheasant Forever Fund Raiser Banquet. I did up a couple of carvings again. The clock is carved on a cherry cabinet door and the gone hunting was done on alder. It is a make over of John Paluck's gone fishing.
