Thread: can this be done?

    Default can this be done?

i'm thinking about picking one of these up as a birthday present to myself

i just got a catalog today and saw something in it that would look awesome on our wall. i said to myself "i'm sure the carvewright could handle this!"

    i figure in either 2, 3, or 4 segments.

thoughts? suggestions? keep in mind i don't even have a machine yet, so my hopes are high.

    thanks

Now that is what I'd call a gigantic but fantastic project. And in pieces carefully designed, I'm sure you could do it with the CarveWright.

It'll be very challenging, but it will be something awesome when you finish. If I may offer a suggestion: overlap the disign on your seperate pieces when you design them. Then you can cut them carefully to width to match up exactly (along the lines you can always cut more off, but can't add back on).

I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to carve designs wider than the 15", on multiple boards, and then matching the design up perfectly. Your idea here is 'Brilliant.' (reminds me of the Guinness beer commercials. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ueVKOG6dZgE )
