    Default how to make my carvings look like the one in gallery

    I have been trying to carve a picture in the pollycarbinate plastics but my carving looks like the whole picture is frosted , not like the one in the gallery. I have used 1/4 thick piece with no feathering selected, picture looks good but not like the negetive look in the gallery, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    The sample in the gallery has a backlight behind the carved photo. That may be why you photo does not look the same. Somewhere on here there is a thread that addresses the lighted photo - try doing a search for it.

    Hope this helps, you are ahead of me, I'm still trying to get my first photo to come out nice.
