    Default See Thru lid making wood dust cling to it and hard to see wo

    I found a way to keep the wood particles off the clear plastic lens so you can see the work better. I used some anti-static computer screen spray and now it keeps the lid clear of wood particles. Works real good. Might be a handy idea if you are having this problem.

    I wonder if that would work on the optic sensors also? Everyone talks about keeping them clean, maybe that would help. I don't have my machine yet, hope it comes in today (1/23). Was to arrive on the 17th, but we all know how that goes. Thanks for the tip.

    Hi Early Bird

    I think a message from the cw is needed on this one. I'm wondering how anti static sprays designed for external surfaces work.
    I hope it's not by providing a conductive path for the charges to leak away, as this might give a problem if used on exposed circuitry !

    How about a static guard towel that goes in the dryer. Works for me.

    I've been using Endust for Electronics on the clear plastic cover for a year. Haven't needed it elsewhere. Works good.

    I use a static cleaner on mine and it works great.
