    Default minimum board thickness?

    can i do a "cut out" of a object if the board thickness is a little over 1/4" ? it is a cut out only. . . .

    I use a sled for these cutouts-- just make sure that when the software asks you, tell it you will use a sled (manual jig)

    a sled with a carrier board or can i use just rails?

    I've used Sleds and Carrier Boards to carve and cut out projests down to 1/4" and 1/8" with no problems
