Here is my first scan. The probe is awesome, I can see me getting addicted to this. Feel free to comment or use for whatever you want.

Say that looks great. I have one I've never had time to use. Guess I should make time.

If it is a job to go to work, learn something new. Life is to short to waste it on something you don't love.
That came put good. Did you do any editing?
Clint
I scanned on best and did no editing other than making the feather 1/2 inch.
Really nice pattern and scan. I don't have the probe, someday I will get it.
Great scan and thanks! Yes the probe is a cool tool addition for the CW. Be careful though, you will find your self looking at everything trying to figure how to fit it into the machine to be scanned!

Well, Here is another one. I need to look at the turorials to clean this up but feel free to use it. Any comments welcome as how to clean up the areas "inside" the applique as I think it would look much better if these areas were flat.

Hi will-munny.
Thanks for sharing.
If you just right mouse clik the pattern and then outline pattern, you can select the outline around the outside of the pattern and make it a carve area.
If I understand what you whant, that should give you the look you are after.
Have a great day.

When you make a cutpath you don't have a closed loop on three parts. If you saved the MPW file you can clean up these spots with the pattern editor. If you don't need a cutpath you can carve this with a carve region. You can also use the Pierced function to cut out your applique. This is a great scan.
