If I want a car to look good I would make it like image 1, but if I want to try to win I would make it like #2 and tune it to the MAX, you have to watch those 12 year old kids. There minds might be better then yours,

Anyone know if this pinewood derby was ever carved out way back when? Looks kinda cool (thanks for making it Alan) and I was thinking of taking a stab at it.

The LeMans car came out OK but needed some extra gluing of the end of the fenders and shaping with a rotary tool to make the fenders work right. It's not a lot of carve time. The distance between the wheels is very close to the derby kit car.
Has anybody made there own jig to carve with. I did not see the jig price on the CW site.
