The connector he's pointing to is currently only used when we calibrate the machine here. I have no idea if it will have another use further down the line.
the only connector I know of inside the machine to the left is the one to the back of the LCD above the keypad. If this isn't it, which connector do you mean Dan?
Both connectors described are intended to allow for future accessories.

Okay, I guess I can say...because they have been mentioned before...
The port on the base is for the 4th axis, and the port in the head was intended for an automatic bit changer. I don't know whether the automatic bit changer is still under consideration or not.
Don't ask when these will be available.
