If it is registered to your machine , it is not transferable, even though it has never been used.

Has the software that came with the probe been activated as Connie suggested in your previous post? If so, the probe can be sold, but the software (a good part of the value) cannot be transferred. If the software that came with your probe has never been activated, then this is a reasonable deal. Please specify.
