Thread: Some completed orders

  1. Default Some completed orders

Here are two of the latest orders I just completed. One is an order for 16 award plaques of varying sizes. The more prestigious awards are made with Black walnut and the lesser with cherry. The other is a round cribbage board that is going to Alaska (if anyone out there knows this gentleman, please don't tell him. It is a surprise.). This crib board just had the last coat of finish applied. That's why it is so shiny. It is actually a beautiful SATIN finish.

Those are beautiful Terry! Nice work. What kind of wood are you using?

The award plaques are black walnut and cherry and the cribbage board is black walnut. I have another board waiting for the customer to pickup that is made with cherry. And, of course, everything was a rush job. But now I can take a few minutes to cleanup my shop.LOL

Would love to see the cribbage board in a picture by itself.... because I'm wondering if all or part of the inter-design is domed.

Here is a link to the finished project on our "Unique Gifts" website. If you double click on the picture it will show a larger one. On the back of all my boards I put a sliding door for peg storage and an aligator hanger so it can be hung on the wall.

Thanks Terry for posting the link. When looking at the smaller picture (first post) I thought the portion where the name was had been domed but now see that it wasn't. The cribbage board looks even better in the larger photo.

Wow, thanks for the suggestion. I will give that a try and see how it works.
