    Default Newest Sign with Texture ...

    Heres a sign I did today using one of the textures I found on the web at this site ... http://www.bencloward.com/textures_wood.shtml ... he has some good hi-res pictures. Be sure and leave comments if you use some of these. I put it in Photoshop, coverted to grayscale and imported to the Designer. I inverted the carving so it would be indented in the sign, then put the lettering over the top. Nothing fancy, but I think it turned out well. I'll seal the sign, leaving the cherry wood color, and paint the lettering. It's 16" long X 10.5 inches wide and it took about 2 hours to carve. I changed the lighting on the first photo to try to show more detail of the carving. Thanks for looking.
