    Default Carving sled

I have to carve make some cutouts in 1/16 ply ( model boat parts). I'm going to use 3/4" ply for the sled. Now the question, when I open designer and tell it I'm startining a new project it wants wood dimensions what should I tell it for the thickness of the wood. 3/4" or 3/4" plus the 1/16th.

    thanks
    Chris

In Designer, use the thickness of your stock being carved or cut.
In your case you will get a prompt about being under 1/2 inch, at which time you will just "Continue".

When you load your project in the carver, you will get a prompt asking if you wish to carve the project or the board. You will select "Project". The reason for the prompt is due to your cuts that go through the project.
